Dani – I use a large rectangular Pyrex container to marinate the tofu and transfer the marinated tofu to the large pan that I coat with a small layer of sesame oil. I don’t recommend transferring the remaining marinade to the pan. I tried this the first time around – it significantly extended the cooking time and a lot of the marinade just burned in the pan and was not fun to clean up.
